Chemistry Resource Center

Welcome to the CRC! The Chemistry Resource Center is the place where you can get assistance in sciences, including Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

Tutoring

Make a Tutoring Appointment

Tutoring services are offered in person.  (online tutoring is available with the Academic Support Center, using MS Teams).

Who are our tutors?

Support in the CRC is with current Graduate Student Assistants (GSA) in their respective majors.

What time are you open?

Support is available betweek 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Supplemental Instruction (SI)

In collaboration with the Academic Support Center we also offer Supplemental Instruction (SI) for General Chemistry 1101, and Physics 1001, 2002.

SI is offered during the day and often until 8:00 p.m., but check the SI schedule for details.

Schedule

Prepare to succeed

To prepare for a tutoring session, students should bring textbooks, notes, completed homework, study guides, and graded quizzes or exams. Having material from the course gives both the student and the tutor a starting point for the tutoring session. Students should expect to work through problems, draw diagrams, engage in discussion and explanation, and participate actively in the tutoring session.

When making an appointment, all centers (ASC, CRC and MAC) are available for scheduling at Hub.fit.edu.
