Get Involved
Being civically engaged is easy at Florida Tech! Florida Tech's Civic Engagement Initiative invites all members of the Florida Tech's campus community and the greater community to be engaged in their local communities. Please look below for more information on the best way for you to get involved.
Students
Whether you need to earn service hours, want to give back, enjoy finding community, or a mix of all the reasons before - it's easy to get involved. Visit the Civic Engagement Engage Page and log in with your TRACKS ID to get a complete list of upcoming service events.
In addition to attend service events, students can get engaged by...
- Directly contacting a Community Partner and inquiring about available service opportunities.
- Earn money, develop your professional skillsets, and give back by joining the Civic Workforce! Civic Engagement hires 4-5 Federal Work Study eligible students annually to join the Civic Workforce.
- Completing service-based internships.
- Completing virtual service opportunities.
If you're unsure about how to get involved, don't worry - the Civic Engagement Workforce is here to help. Simply fill out a Service Interest Form on Engage, and our staff will carefully review your submission to find the ideal service opportunities for you.
