Safe Travel Program
Part of the Risk Management services is providing all members of the institution (faculty, staff, administration and students) traveling abroad with the institution’s Safe Travel Program. Through the Safe Travel program, WorldAware an online travel service provides travel risk assessment graded on a scale of 1-5 as well as safety training for all institutional travelers to use. For more details, please click here https://www.world-aware.com/. To use the program please follow the steps below:
- Complete an Employee Trip Itinerary Approval Form (Trip Itinerary). Employee Trip Itinerary Approval Forms should be completed at least 2 weeks prior to international departure and submitted in person to the CEO of the University.
- Print the Safe Travel Program Emergency Information Card (attached) and on the back write the name of your World Aware contact Mischka Maxwell (email@example.com), 321-674-8885; if after hours contact Department of Security and Safety at 321-674-8111 in the event of an emergency while travelling abroad.
- For Group Travel, the Safe Travel Program Group Travel sheet (attached) must be completed and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org at least 2 weeks prior to departure.
