Worth Waiting For

We are excited about what we have to offer you in the fifth edition courses.

  •
Eliminate time pressure. If you start in fifth edition coursework, there is no rush to get through the coursework before January 2022. If life gets in the way of going straight through the courses, you won’t need to worry. Take a break if you need to and sit for the BACB exam when you are ready.
  •
Take fifth edition coursework to sit for the fifth edition exam. The board exams change over to the fifth edition on January 1, 2022. Even if you are approved to sit for the exam prior to this date on the basis of fourth edition coursework, if you sit for the exam after January 1, you will take the fifth edition exam.
  •
Benefit from broadened degree requirements. Fulfilling BCBA requirements with fourth edition coursework requires a master’s degree or higher in education, psychology or behavior analysis. Under the fifth edition, master’s degrees in any field will be accepted. For more information, see the BACB October 2018 newsletter.
  •
Be on the leading edge. To become a BCBA or BCaBA is to take an important step in the growing field of behavior analysis. Florida Tech fifth edition courses will build upon our tradition of providing high-quality instruction that is itself based on the science of behavior.
