The following individuals and agencies have asked that we list them as offering supervision services, as defined and outlined by the BACB. This supervision may be provided in immediate physical proximity with the supervisee, from a distance via audio/visual electronic communication, or both.

Some of the listed individuals may provide instruction or other services through the Florida Tech ABA Online program, but the services offered herein have no relation whatsoever with Florida Tech or ABA Technologies, Inc. By listing the names below, Florida Tech and ABA Technologies are offering no information, opinion or validation of the scope, quality, immediacy of availability or continuity of supervision offered by the listed individual. Supervision services are not provided either directly through or in partnership with Florida Tech or ABA Technologies.

Anyone interested in obtaining ABA-based supervision from one of the individuals listed below should contact that individual directly, determine whether the individual meets their supervision needs, and thereafter maintain future contact outside of the auspices of the Florida Tech continuing education program. Amada Tro

MS, BCBA, LMFT, LMHC- MHB Consultants

Amada Tro, MS, BCBA, LMFT, LMHC and co-founder of MHB Consultants Inc. in Miami, FL has over 40 years of experience working in the psychology and behavior analysis fields. The Global Autism Project provides distance supervision to those seeking board certification in behavior analysis (BCBA or BCaBA). This exciting endeavor complements our organization's mission: to build local capacity in the treatment of autism spectrum disorder in underserved communities worldwide. Our certification program includes individual sessions focused on the specific needs of the students, as well as group meetings in which supervisees will have the opportunity to learn with and from our service partners working in countries such as Malaysia and Kenya. Many of these service partners are working in areas where awareness is minimal and services scarce. Han-Leong Goh (Han)


Han-Leong Goh (Han), Ph.D., BCBA-D, is available to provide supervision to fulfill supervision requirements of the BACB. Han received his Ph.D. in psychology (applied behavior analysis) from the University of Florida, working with Dr. Brian Iwata. He spent a year under a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, working with Dr. Cathleen Piazza. He has been a practicing behavior analyst for over 20 years with interests in functional analysis and function-based treatment of behavior disorders and has worked with children and adults presenting with a wide variety of challenging diagnoses. Han has 14 publications in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis , including four first-author publications, and has served as guest reviewer since 1994. Currently, his practice includes assessment and treatment of behavior disorders among adults and children diagnosed with autism and other developmental delays. Han also provides skills acquisition training via ABLLS-R and VB-MAPP for children diagnosed with autism. He also has experience providing BACB supervision. Han can be reached at

Lisa Britton


Lisa Britton is a board certified behavior analyst at the doctoral level (BCBA-D). She obtained her M.A. in 1998 and Ph.D. in 2000 from the University of Nevada, Reno, under the direction of James Carr. Lisa’s primary focus is on providing behavioral supports to students with special education needs in their educational environment.

Britton Behavioral Consulting provides BCBA and BCaBA supervision remotely and in person (within the San Francisco Bay area). Supervision consists of observing behavior analytic activities conducted with clients (in-vivo or through recordings) and reviewing graphs, reports, behavior intervention plans, skill acquisition plans, etc. We deliver feedback on these videos and specific work products in addition to ongoing discussion of cases the supervisee has.

Melissa Druskis


Melissa Druskis, M.S., BCBA, is offering distance supervision to BCaBA and BCBA students. Melissa has a bachelor’s degree in speech language pathology and a master’s degree in applied cognition and neuroscience, including 2 years of research and published work in neural plasticity and working memory. She also completed the BCBA certification program with Florida Institute of Technology. Melissa has worked as pediatric therapist since 2010 in the fields of speech language pathology and ABA. She is currently a supervising BCBA for a home health company in Dallas, Texas. Her experience includes working with clients with autism, emotional disturbance, ADHD, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, severe challenging behaviors, social skill deficits and behavior-related feeding problems. As a BCBA supervisor, Melissa develops and implements behavioral and skill acquisition programs, conducts parent and teacher training, provides functional behavior assessments and skill/daily living assessments and supervises and trains RBTs and BCaBA and BCBA students.

Michael E. Kelley


Michael E. Kelley, Ph.D., BCBA-D is available to provide online supervision for those pursuing supervised hours toward the BCaBA and the BCBA certifications. He is an associate professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and director of the Severe Behavior Disorders program. Dr. Kelley serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis. His research interests include assessment and treatment of severe behavior problems, early intervention and translational research. He can be reached at

Rachel Torrance

M.Ed., BCBA - Accessing Abilities, LLC

Rachel Torrance and Accessing Abilities, LLC, provide local and remote independent supervision. Rachel is a BCBA and special education teacher who has received direct training from many leaders in the field, to include Drs. Cooper, Heron, Heward, and LaVigna. She received her undergraduate and M.Ed. degrees in special education in 1997 and 1998. Following that, she taught special education across the continuum of services. Rachel has also obtained 60-plus hours of post master’s graduate school training. Since 2011, she has been providing consultative services for school-age students as a behavior and curriculum intervention specialist with the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities, a DD agency in northeast Ohio. Rachel is often seen presenting, collaborating with professionals, consulting across settings, supervising and participating as an active board member with Milestones Autism Resources in Ohio. As a supervisor, she creates a welcoming and individualized learning environment. Many resources are provided to build the supervisees’ level of competency and ability to apply their understanding of the current task list and behavior analysis concepts and principles. Applying data-driven methodologies, evidence based practices and positive supports programming, supervisees become fluent in behavior analysis--as well as their own practice in the field--and ready for the exam.

Sarah Bertrand-Zelaya


Sarah Bertrand-Zelaya, M.Ed., BCBA, is the owner and founder of Putting the Pieces Together Behavioral Therapy, LLC, located in Naples, Fla. Sarah completed her BCBA coursework through Florida Tech’s certification program in 2011. Sarah has 12 years of experience in ABA and special education beginning as an early intervention ABA therapist for children with autism spectrum disabilities and other developmental disabilities. Since beginning in the field, Sarah has worked in multiple settings including in-home, day cares, community settings, and public and private schools. She has worked with children ages 18 months to 18 years; however, the majority of her experience is with elementary ages. Sarah has recently expanded her knowledge and expertise to provide therapy and treatment for children with emotional-behavioral disabilities. Sarah has successfully developed and implemented behavior programs and plans, as well as skill acquisition protocols. In addition to working directly with children with special needs, over the past two years Sarah has begun providing supervision for BCaBAs and students currently enrolled in ABA coursework seeking certification. Shannon Biagi


Shannon Biagi, MS, BCBA, is an OBM practitioner who provides remote supervision for upcoming behavior analysts in Organizational Behavior Management practice specifically. She provides a unique perspective on supervision of new OBM practitioners, with her supervision centralized on the BACB task list and how the basic principles of ABA are applied in business. She is a co-author of OBM Applied!: A Practical Guide to Implementing Organizational Behavior Management, a co-instructor and co-founder of Florida Tech ABA Online’s OBM Certificate Program, and has provided workshops on OBM to behavior analysts and business owners both nationally and internationally. She has experience applying OBM in human service organizations and a variety of other settings, and has extensive remote coaching experience for new OBM practitioners and ABA business owners looking to improve their organizations’ business results. William "Tim" Courtney


William "Tim" Courtney, M.S., BCBA, is the research and training director for Little Star Center (LSC), a clinic-based ABA setting providing therapy to individuals diagnosed with autism. Tim Courtney is also a co-instructor for FIT’s professional development program in ABA and a Ph.D. candidate at Purdue University. Tim has six years of experience providing direct and remote supervision to help professionals meet BACB standards and achieve BCBA or BCaBA certification. Tim’s approach to supervision is to work with supervisees to develop a portfolio consisting of several work products directly related to acceleration and deceleration programming for individuals with autism. Tim only takes one supervisee per year.
