Wellness Boot Camp Series

 

How to Adult Like a Panther

Wednesday, September 5th from 7-8:30pm

Evans Hall, Room 202

Welcome to emerging adulthood! This is the time where you recognize you’re no longer a cub, but you may not feel like you have a handle on this whole being an adult thing either. Join your fellow panthers to discuss how to juggle school, extracurricular activities, self-care, and relationships like an MVP (Most Valuable Panther). Space is limited, so arrive early to reserve your spot. 


 

Wednesday, September 19th from 7-8:30pm

Evans Hall, Room 202

Panthers are natural protectors…next to them you won’t feel afraid or in danger. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a pet panther on your defensive line during the “Red Zone?” (the first six weeks of college when students are most likely to be sexually assaulted).  Join your fellow panthers to discuss ways to protect yourself and the rest of the team during this time, especially ways to give and obtain consent that it is explicit, effective, and enthusiastic.  Space is limited, so arrive early to reserve your spot.

Would you believe us if we told you by the end of this boot camp, you will feel strong, healthy, and reinvigorated without having to break a sweat? Join your fellow panthers for a powerful evening where you will learn skills to train your mind and body to manage daily stressors while staying calm and confident.  Space is limited, so arrive early to reserve your spot.

A successful team has both a strong defense and offense. Only having one or the other weakens the entire team. Diversifying your experiences and relationships can enhance your creativity and ability to solve problems. Join other remarkable panthers as we discuss how we can be stronger, together!  Space is limited, so arrive early to reserve your spot.

Sometimes we need a time-out from the hustle and bustle of the Florida Tech jungle! Join your fellow panthers as we learn how to reduce your stress and relieve muscle tension. This type of cardio won’t leave you feeling sore the next morning! Space is limited, so arrive early to reserve your spot.
