Applying for Admission

We're so glad you've decided to start your journey toward a career-enhancing Florida Tech degree through one of our Education Centers. Please read the following instructions carefully and thoroughly, and be sure to let us know if you would like some one-on-one assistance. We'll be glad to help.

While admission standards are the same for international students as they are for domestic applications, international students may be asked to provide additional documentation. See the International Student Admissions page for details.

Admission Requirements

Admission is granted to highly qualified applicants who demonstrate readiness to succeed in a Florida Tech degree program.

Master's Degree Applicants

Applicants who wish to enroll in a master's degree program at a Florida Tech Education Center must have received a bachelor's degree from a regionally-accredited institution (or the international equivalent), and will have earned a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Some degree programs may have alternative or additional requirements.

B.S. Logistics Applicants

The B.S. in Logistics Management is available to students who hold an associate of arts degree (minimum of 60 semester credit hours) or the equivalent in transferable credit from a regionally-accredited institution.

Applying to Florida Tech

Application requirements may vary depending on program and degree type. Prospective students who are ready to apply may do so at any time, for any future semester. To apply:

Complete the Online Application

When you are ready, complete Florida Tech's online admission application. Note that the application will display only the degree programs available at the Education Center you choose, so be sure to select the one you wish to attend.

Pay the Application Fee

A nonrefundable application fee of $50 must accompany your application. The application fee will be waived for Florida Tech alumni who wish to return to Florida Tech for a graduate degree.

Provide Official Transcripts

An official certified transcript must be sent to the Education Center's admissions office by the registrar of each college or university the applicant has attended. Students who have prior university-level educational experience outside the U.S. are required to provide English translations that include the student's cumulative grade point average (GPA).
