Jensen, Sherry

Assistant Professor of Economics, Bisk College of Business

Personal Overview

Sherry Jensen is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Nathan M. Bisk College of Business at Florida Tech, where she has been a faculty member since 2014. She earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in economics from Clemson University.  Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked in the banking and automotive industries after receiving a B.S. in economics from Centre College, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Her research interests are focused on applied microeconomics, including labor economics, industrial organization, and the economics of education.  Dr. Jensen has taught a wide variety of economics courses, most recently microeconomics and macroeconomics to undergraduate students and managerial economics to MBA students at Florida Tech.  She enjoys international travel, paddleboarding on Florida’s Space Coast, and rock climbing.
