Personal Overview
I joined Florida Tech in 2015 after 15-year experience in wireless communications industry spanning Agilent Technologies, Optimi and Ericsson and 5-year experience in satellite remote sensing. After graduating from University of Zagreb in Croatia, received M.S. degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology and Ph.D. from University of Central Florida, all in Electrical Engineering.
My research and teaching focus is on radio communications, commercial mobile communications technologies and satellite remote sensing.
I have contributed to a book on Self-optimizing networks and published papers in areas of remote sensing and RF propagation. In 1999 I received NASA annual best project team award for contribution in Quickscat spacecraft mission. In 2015 I was granted a patent for an algorithm for automatic detection of problematic areas in mobile communication networks.
