Program Features

  1. This program is open to any high school student who is currently in or entering the junior or senior year in high school and who is attending a private or public high school in Brevard or Indian River counties desiring to take courses at Florida Tech (space available basis).
  2. The student is limited to earning a maximum of 12 semester hours total.
  3. Any high school senior completing six or more credits at Florida Tech with a 3.0 overall GPA is guaranteed:
    • admission to Florida Tech upon completion of the full-time undergraduate admission process and
    • consideration for a university-based merit scholarship and need-based grants to attend Florida Tech.
  4. Tuition, while enrolled as a special high school student, is $100 per credit hour. Some Florida Tech courses and other costs are not included in this tuition offer (i.e. textbooks and supplies, flight training, internship courses and others as determined by the university). Flight training costs are incurred at the current training rates. These costs are in addition to university tuition.
  5. Credits will be recorded on a Florida Tech transcript at the end of each semester ($5 transcript request fee). Upon matriculation as a full-time undergraduate student, the tuition rate will be the current Florida Tech tuition rate at that time.

Application Process

Complete this form and submit to Florida Tech's Office of Undergraduate Admissions prior to the start of Florida Tech courses.
Submit a high school transcript.

I understand and agree to the terms and conditions set in this document.
