The Student Astronomical Society at Florida Tech has been slowly but surely rebuilding itself since the pandemic. We focus on activities and outreach, helping our student body be educated and appreciative of the skies. We also work on a community level, without national backing our activities and reach are focused on Melbourne and surrounding areas in Brevard county. We partner with other science-based student organizations to promote academic and professional advancement for students. Our goals are to help anyone in our campus and community, no matter the major or educational background, to be able to appreciate the beauty and wonder of the universe!
In lieu of monetary donations, Student Astronomical Society also accepts equipment and learning materials for the welfare and advancement of the club. If you have any such items that you feel would be useful to us, please consider donating to us!
