Purpose

The Neha and Sanjay Rishi Scholarship will support a Florida Tech undergraduate African-American junior or senior student majoring in a degree within the Nathan Bisk College of Business, who demonstrates financial need. (GF000440)

Description

The Neha and Sanjay Rishi Charitable Foundation have established an endowed scholarship benefiting students attending Florida Tech. The scholarship will be awarded annually to an African American student showing financial need.


History

Sanjay Rishi, Ph.D., graduated from Florida Tech in 1985 with a master’s degree in systems management.

“Neha and I are honored to establish this scholarship. It is essential for us as a society to make sure that opportunity exists for everyone,” Sanjay Rishi said. “I was fortunate to attend Florida Tech, and the education I received has been integral in my development as a leader. I hope that this scholarship will help deserving students who may not have the same opportunity I had. Neha and I are excited to continue to support Florida Tech.”

Rishi is CEO, of Corporate Solutions – Americas for the real estate services company JLL. He joined JLL in 2018 from IBM, where he ran the Cloud Consulting Services business. Prior to that, he was chief information officer and group vice president of strategic planning for Johnson Controls Automotive. He has also held roles as a partner for PwC and vice president for IBM Global Strategy.

Sanjay Rishi joined the advisory board of the Bisk College of Business at Florida Tech in 2020.
