Dr. Greg Autry has researched and taught entrepreneurship and technology innovation at the University of Southern California, management and macroeconomics at the University of California at Irvine, and space entrepreneurship in an International Space University program at the Florida Institute of Technology.
Dr. Autry served on the NASA Agency Review Team and as the White House Liaison at NASA. He currently serves as Chair of the Safety Working Group on the Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee (COMSTAC) at the FAA. He is also the Vice President for Space Development at the National Space Society. He directs the Pacific Commercial Spaceflight Initiative within the Aldrin Space Institute.
He started his career as a software and network engineer and has founded and managed several businesses in the technology sector.
Dr. Autry's writings have been published in major news outlets including Foreign Policy, the San Francisco Chronicle, Los Angeles Times, Washington Times, Wall Street Journal and Space News. He has written several business case studies, several in set in the space sector.
He holds a BA from California Polytechnic University at Pomona and an MBA and PhD from the Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine.
