Creating Accessible Content

As you add or update the content on your webpages please reference these guidelines to ensure that your content is accessible for everyone.

The elements listed below are the most widely available and commonly used in our content management system. If you're working with other elements it is important to keep in mind that all web content must comply with WCAG 2.0 AA. If you require an element that is not listed here please submit a service request and the Web Services team will work with you to develop an accessible solution.

Web Accessibility

Florida Institute of Technology is committed to creating an inclusive campus where everyone can fully benefit from our programs and activities, including use of the Florida Tech Website. To that end, the Florida Tech Website is consistently and continuously monitored, reviewed, revised and enhanced in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as well as best practices for web design and digital communication.

In cases where web-based content cannot be made accessible as a result of technical limitations, an alternative method for people to obtain the information—such as a phone number, email address or office location—is provided. Florida Tech is committed to addressing issues that are brought to our attention swiftly and with the utmost quality. If you have questions or concerns about web accessibility or would like assistance with our website, please contact us at
