Orientation Schedule

FALL 2024 (*Mandatory for all students starting fall 2024)

The full orientation schedule, including graduate, undergraduate, family and supporter, and all other detailed information, will be available by May 1, 2024.

New undergraduate, transfer, and graduate students check in and move in on either Saturday, August 10, 2024, or Sunday, August 11, 2024, through a drive-thru process. Those students living on campus will proceed to their residence halls immediately after check-in. Please follow the schedule below to know when to show up for check-in and move-in time:

PLEASE NOTE: New students are permitted to move in ONLY during their designated times listed below. If a new student shows up early for their designed day or time, we will have a holding location until it is their time to move in. Else, if a student is substantially outside of their time block, we will guide your group to return at the proper time. 

SATURDAY, AUGUST 10

• Roberts Hall
• 7^th and 6^th Floor: 8am – 9am
• 5^th and 4^th Floor: 9am – 10am
• 3^rd and 2^nd Floor: 10am – 11am
• Residence Quad
• Brownlie Hall: 9am – 10am
• Shaw and Wood Halls: 10am – 11am

SUNDAY, AUGUST 11

• Columbia Village
• Ramon and Chawla Hall: 8am – 9am
• Brown and Clark Hall: 9am – 10am
• Anderson and Husband Hall: 10am – 11am
• McCool Hall: 11am – 12pm
• Southgate, Mary Star of the Sea, L3Harris Village, and Panther Bay
• All halls between 12pm – 1pm
• Residence Quad
• Grissom and Evans Hall: 1pm – 2pm
• Campbell Hall: 2pm – 3pm

Commuters, Graduate, and Transfer Students (not living on campus):

• Sunday, August 11 from 10am – 3pm

The New Student Orientation programs will be from August 11 to August 16. 

The Family Orientation program will be on August 13, with activities and events on August 12.
