*Any one of the following: American History to the Civil War (AMH 2010), American History: Reconstruction to the Present (AMH 2020), Survey of American Literature 1 (AML 2010), Survey of American Literature 2 (AML 2020), World History 2 (ARH 2051), Humanities 2 (HUM 2230), Humanities Survey: Enlightenment through 21st Century (HUM 2249). A departmental course substitution form may be required to meet the Humanities Core or humanities elective area.
