Items can be renewed if they are not on hold for another patron or needed for the reserve shelf. Items may be renewed via the online catalog, at the iDesk or by telephone or chat. A patron is allowed a maximum of 4 renewals. Any renewals beyond the maximum of 4 is at the discretion of the iDesk staff.
OVERDUE, LOST OR DAMAGED FINES
Fines may be assessed for overdue books at $.25 per item per day or $1.00 per item per hour for books on the reserve shelf. Replacement cost will be charged to the patron's account for long overdue, lost or damaged materials. Any unfulfilled library obligations will place a hold on the student's account.
Items on the reserve shelf are for in-library use only and check out for two hours at a time. Shortened loan periods may be imposed during periods of high demand.
In most cases, only one Reserve item may be checked out at one time.
