This policy provides guidelines for annual evaluations of Vice Presidents and for Academic Deans. All Academic Deans and Vice Presidents are subject to an annual performance evaluation during which their performance will be assessed in the following areas of responsibility:
Vice Presidents and Academic Deans may be reappointed annually. An Academic Dean or Vice President may serve an unlimited number of years as long as the individual’s performance is demonstrably satisfactory.
Academic Deans and Vice Presidents will meet with their supervisor in October for their annual performance review. The status of each of the previous year’s goals will be reviewed and discussed.
Goals for the coming year will be identified. Individual goals will be discussed for clarification and common understanding. Timelines will be determined for each goal.
The performance of each Academic Dean and Vice President will be discussed. Performance goals will be identified as needed.
