Florida Tech’s global management program students also enjoy a global experience as they interact with a diverse student population, 30% of whom come from more than 100 countries around the world. Easy Access to High-Tech Facilities and Resources

In addition to the support of our dedicated faculty, students have easy access to high-tech facilities and resources on campus to support their studies. As part of the information technology management program, students can explore business startup as their Major Field Practicum experience in Florida Tech’s Student Business Incubator (SBI), a living, breathing center for new venture creation. With the SBI, Florida Tech provides an opportunity for students with exceptional business ideas to turn those concepts into business realities. The program gives select student startup businesses office space, computers, and other supplies to help the business get off the ground. Students may also choose to receive direct instructional help from our Academic Support Center.

Located in the Heart of Florida’s High-tech Corridor

Florida Tech is the perfect place for an Information Technology Management degree. The 130-acre campus is located on the Space Coast (so named because of the presence of NASA and the Kennedy Space Center on Cape Canaveral just north of us), minutes away from the Indian River Lagoon, the most diverse estuary in North America.

The area has the fifth largest high-tech workforce in the country, with more than 5,000 high-tech corporations and government and military organizations located nearby. This workforce also provides an abundance of internship and employment opportunities.

Florida Tech is just over the causeway from the Atlantic Ocean with its 72 miles of beautiful beaches, and a short trip to the Florida Keys or the Orlando theme parks. We also have a rich campus life that includes a wide range of intramural and collegiate sports, clubs, and social activities.

Delta Mu Delta also helps develop academic excellence in business students. The Major Field Practicum, a six-hour community service requirement, allows students to gather workplace experience in a local business while helping their community. Each student is matched with a host organization of interest where he or she learns how the organization functions and gains practical insight into problem-solving and decision-making processes.

Students also may be invited to independent study and research positions alongside faculty, where they can learn and participate in the creation of marketing knowledge or in servicing a real client.
