Music Program

The Music Program at Florida Tech is open to all students at the Melbourne Campus, no matter the major or experience level. We strive to provide a creative and engaging environment that complement’s the University’s tradition of science and research. From beginners with an itch to learn a new instrument to experienced performers hoping to continue, there is something for everyone. The Music Program believes that collective music-making and sympathetic study of musical culture develop essential skills in team building, communication, expression, and understanding that set Florida Tech graduates apart and contribute to building meaningful careers in an ever-changing world.

The music program at Florida Tech is designed to enhance the experience of Florida Tech students in all disciplines. It offers the highest level of education in academic music learning as well as opportunities for progressive and innovative musical experiences through performance, professional guidance, and community interaction.
