Florida Tech’s I/O program has a tradition of excellence in Industrial Organizational Psychology research. There are currently nine I/O faculty members with a wide range of research interests. Four of our faculty members are on editorial boards and one served as editor of The Industrial Organizational Psychologist (TIP) and one is the editor of the Cross Cultural Psychology Bulletin. Each faculty member leads an active and productive research team in their area of specialization. Students are encouraged to become involved in these collaborative teams from day 1 in the program. Students work with fellow students and faculty and develop and conduct industrial organizational psychology research. Students are encouraged to publish and present their research at conferences and are frequent authors and coauthors of manuscripts. Faculty and students publish their industrial organizational psychology research in top journals and are active contributors to a number of conferences including Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology (SIOP), European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology (EAWOP), Academy of Management, APA, International Association for Cross Cultural Psychology (IACCP).
