University Aid For Transfers
Florida Tech is proud to be able to make substantial scholarship opportunities available to well-qualified transfer students.
Scholarships are awarded at the time of admission. A student must enroll as a full-time undergraduate student in Melbourne in order to claim an awarded scholarship.
Florida Tech Transfer Scholarship
Up to $14,000 per year if the student’s cumulative GPA is 2.8 or higher at the university level. This scholarship may be combined with the Florida Tech Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship and/or the FITS-STEM Scholarship.
Florida Tech Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
An additional $2,500 per year if the student applies and is admitted to Florida Tech and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. Proof of Phi Theta Kappa membership must be submitted at time of application.
Up to $10,000 per year, awarded to community college and state college students who transfer to Florida Tech and major in civil engineering, chemical engineering, or ocean engineering. The amount of this scholarship varies; it typically combines with other scholarships and grants to cover the student's full tuition. Presidential Scholarships are awarded to select, exceptional transfer students from Florida state colleges admitted for Fall term. Recipients must have earned an A.A. degree with a minimum 3.5 GPA prior to enrollment and must file a FAFSA.
Athletic scholarships vary in amount and are awarded by individual coaches through the athletics department. Florida Tech offers scholarships in men’s baseball, basketball, golf, cross country, lacrosse, tennis, rowing and soccer and in women’s basketball, cross country, golf, softball, soccer, tennis, rowing and volleyball.
