Location Advantage
The tight-knit Space Coast community provides Florida Tech students with ample opportunities to network and interact with the local medical community and to become engaged in high-level medical research or clinical immersion experiences.
By combining the high-powered research facilities of a large university with the faculty mentorship of a small private college, Florida Tech gives you the opportunity to build valuable hands-on experience and expertise in the field that matters most to you.
More To Look Forward To
A premed internship, often volunteering at local hospitals and shadowing practicing physicians, is one of the central parts of the learning experience for Florida Tech students seeking to pursue work in medicine-related fields after college.
In addition, all undergraduates participate in research, many joining cutting-edge faculty research teams, working side by side with experienced professors to conduct original research.
Beyond the classroom, students build leadership and professional experience by participating in academic organizations like Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta, the biological sciences honor society), the Premed Club, student government and over 100 other student organizations.
