Patrick Henry

Associate VP of Campaigns

Patrick Henry is a seasoned advancement leader with over 16 years' experience in healthcare and higher education philanthropy.

Before joining Florida Tech, he served as senior executive director of philanthropy for the College of Engineering at Embry-Riddle. In this role, he was responsible for the strategy and execution of all philanthropic and alumni engagement activities for the College of Engineering and College of Arts & Sciences in Daytona Beach.

Prior to Embry-Riddle, Patrick was the president and chief development officer for Ascension St. Vincent's Hospitals in Jacksonville, FL. where he led all foundation related activities for the Ascension St. Vincent's Hospital System. Patrick served on the hospital's executive leadership team and supervised over 30 hospital associates, including the St. Vincent's Mobile Health Outreach Ministry. In addition to his role, Patrick served on the Board of Directors for Catholic Charities of Jacksonville, and the Jacksonville Transformation Committee.

Prior to Ascension, Patrick worked for UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL where he led all development and grateful patient activities for the Department of Medicine, Cancer Center, and Transplant Programs. Additionally, Patrick held multiple advancement roles at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine and served in a leadership role for the Development Committee for the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC).

Leading by example, Patrick is known for his authenticity and tenacious approach to philanthropy. He’s a metrics-driven and evidenced based development professional, and this helps steer his team towards success.

Patrick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN and a Master of Science degree in management from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.  He resides in Indialantic, FL with his wife, Lindsay, and 3 children.
