This unique program offers students a high-quality online education, working with experts in the field, with flexible scheduling to accommodate student schedules. Students complete 33 credit hours of online coursework through our ABA Online department, including 21 credit hours of a Verified Course Sequence by the Association of Behavior Analysis International and experiential training courses designed to build and assess practical competencies. In addition to coursework, students will have the option of taking either a comprehensive Final Program Exam or completing an applied capstone project.
The mission of the M.A. Behavior Analysis Practice online degree program is to produce competent science-informed practitioners who are solidly grounded in basic principles derived from the experimental analysis of behavior, who approach problems in a conceptually systematic way tied to those basic principles, who will attain BCBA certification, who adhere to best data-based and evidenced-based ABA practices, and who will continue to inform their practice with current research findings.
The Association for Behavior Analysis International has verified the following courses toward the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst® or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® examination. Applicants will need to meet additional requirements before they can be deemed eligible to take the examination.
