Orientation is your opportunity to start your college experience off right by attending one of the most important events of your academic career! You will meet other students, meet faculty and staff, learn about university resources, pay your fees, buy books, meet the president of the university, have fun, be entertained by our wonderful staff and best of all...you get it for FREE!

Summer Orienation - Thursday, May 2 and Friday, May 3
Fall Orientation is mandatory for all students. Please be prepared to be on campus on the date listed below until classes start on Monday, August 19, 2013.
The fall Orientation schedule will be available no later than May 15, 2013.
Fall Orientation Arrival Dates
All freshman students are required to check-in on Tuesday, August 13, 2013.
If you are a new student that falls into one of the below categories, please check-in on the date corresponding to your category. If you fall into one or more categories, please email the Office of Orientation at orientation@fit.edu.
- International students (those issued an I-20) are required to check-in on Monday, August 12, 2013
- Flight students are required to check-in on Monday, August 12, 2013
- Fall Sport Athletes (football, W/M Cross Country, W/M Soccer and Volleyball ONLY) are required to check-in on Monday, August 12, 2013
- ROTC students are required to check-in on Monday, August 12, 2013
Graduate students are required to check-in on Tuesday, August 13, 2013
Transfer students are required to check-in on Tuesday, August 13, 2013
