The Office of the Registrar assists academic units in ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures pertaining to the observance of academic calendars, examinations, grading practices, and recording academic performance, which includes academic honors, academic probation and academic dismissal. The registrar’s office certifies transfer credit from outside the university, verifies completion of degree requirements and coordinates the graduation ceremony.
Petition to Graduate Deadlines
Last day to successfully complete graduate-level defense and examinations for Spring 2013 graduation is April 22, 2013.
Last day to re-petition for Summer 2013 graduation (no ceremony) for students who had petitioned for Spring 2013 is June 14, 2013.
Thesis/Dissertation submission deadline for Summer 2013 graduation
Last day to submit approved copies (five) of thesis or dissertation to the Office of Graduate Programs for Summer 2013 graduation (no ceremony): Monday, July 22, 2013.
Fall 2013 Registration
Registration for Fall Semester 2013 main campus students begins Saturday, March 23, 2013, and continues through August 23, 2013, which is the end of the first week of Fall Semester classes.
Registration for Extended Studies students begins Monday, June 24, 2013, and continues through the end of the first week of classes.

The Office of the Registrar supports the mission of the institution through its role of recordkeeping and data management by producing the university catalog and class schedules, conducting registration, maintaining academic records, and informing students of their academic rights and responsibilities.
