Mission Statement
Accurate, efficient service is the philosophy of the Registrar's Office. As a major campus operational and informational center, this office provides academic support service to students, alumni, faculty, staff, governmental agencies, accreditation groups and the general public.
This office has the responsibility to maintain timely and accurate records of academic progress and the accomplishments of students while maintaining the privacy and security of these records.
The Registrar's Office supports the mission of the institution through its role of record keeping and data management by
producing university catalogs and class schedules, conducting registration, keeping academic records, and
by informing students of their academic rights and responsibilities. This office assists academic units in
ensuring compliance to university policies and procedures pertaining to the observance of academic calendars, tests, grading
practices, and the recording of academic performance, which includes academic honors, academic probation and academic
dismissal.
The Registrar's Office certifies transfer credit from outside the university, verifies completion of degree requirements and coordinates the graduation ceremony.
