Personal Overview

Dr. Rajendra P. Palanisamy conducts advanced research in acoustic structural health monitoring, developing innovative solutions for the automotive and aerospace industries. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University, where his work focused on the interaction of acoustic guided waves with complex composite structures. Before pursuing his doctorate, Dr. Palanisamy earned an M.S. in Urban Infrastructure Engineering from the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology in South Korea, and a B.E. in Aeronautical Engineering from Anna University in Chennai, India.
