University Sustainability Council

The University Sustainability Council (USC) brings together more than 40 members, including students, faculty, and staff representing a wide range of departments across Florida Tech, and we continue to grow. In recent years, the council’s focus has evolved from ongoing data collection and reporting for recognition toward a more action-oriented approach. Building on the insights we’ve gathered about sustainability on campus, we are now focused on implementing meaningful initiatives to drive progress. These efforts span key areas such as campus awareness, recycling practices, and sustainability-focused events.

Members Across Campus

The University Sustainability Council spans across faculty, staff, and students from the vast departments we have on campus. Being sustainable is possible anytime, in any field, which is why we strive to have a diverse group of members collaborating towards our sustainable goals.
