Colin Harrison

Bio

I am working on my Space Sciences Master's thesis on improving deep learning techniques for data-driven astrophysics. I am advised by Dr. David Harris, and we are exploring different ways to engage in data science within every subfield of astrophysics using various neural network architectures.

I received my BS in Astronomy & Astrophysics here at Florida Tech in May of 2025, and swam for the Panthers throughout my undergrad. In my free time, I enjoy building terrariums and playing guitar. I'm originally from New York, and although I miss the food and the snow- I love it here and hope to stay and build my current research into a PhD thesis.
