Bio

I am advised by Dr. Bagrat Mailyan and I am working on my PhD in Space Science. I am interested in lightning and terrestrial gamma-ray flashes (TGFs). For my research, I use TGF catalog data and very low frequency (VLF) radio data to find associations between TGFs and lightning events and to further investigate properties of these events, such as their peak currents.

I was born in Kentucky, and I discovered my love for physics and astrophysics in my 3rd year of high school when, by coincidence, I was placed in an astronomy class during my attendance of the Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program. From there, I went on to receive my BS in Physics at The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2024.
