Madison Hood
Bio
I am advised by Dr. Mailyan and working on my PhD in Physics. I am interested in researching terrestrial gamma-ray flashes (TGFs). My current project focuses on volcanic lightning and a TGF that was found during the Hunga Tonga–Hunga Ha'apai volcano eruption.
I received my BS and MS in Physics at Towson University in Maryland, where I was born and raised. I moved to Florida with my husband after being accepted into the PhD program at FIT.
