Nick Giardetti

Bio

I am advised by Dr. Sofiane Bourouaine and working on my PhD in Physics. As a member of the heliophysics group, I am interested in the solar wind and the impacts it has on Earth and the heliosphere. Specifically, I analyze time series data from NASA spacecraft to better understand the behavior of plasma waves emitted by the Sun.

I received my BS in Physics from Drexel University in 2021, and spent my gap year in industry at Lockheed Martin before coming to Florida Tech. I enjoy both city life and nature, and look forward to traveling more after completing my PhD.
