Bio
I am pursuing my PhD in Sciences and am advised by Dr. Luis Henry Quiroga-Nunez. My thesis focuses on mapping the Sagittarius tidal stream as it passes through the Milky Way disk to establish a way to differentiate stream members from the native disk population. I use Gaia astrometry and spectroscopy, along with statistical modeling of stellar parameters and phase-space structure. More broadly, I am interested in stellar and galactic dynamics.
I completed my BS in Astronomy and Astrophysics at Florida Tech and am now a Space Sciences PhD student in the PSS program. Outside of research, I work with CAMID's TechFutures program as an instructor and design hands-on electronics and 3D-printing projects to help young adults aging out of foster care build STEM skills and career readiness.
