Bio
Dr. Li-Yu is a doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) with a deep and comprehensive understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), developed through academic study, hands-on experience, volunteer service, publishing, and international presentations.
She earned her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2003 and completed her doctoral degree in Educational Psychology with a concentration in ABA at West Virginia University in 2014. As part of her doctoral work, she designed a learning model based on ABA principles and developed an instructional system aimed at motivating Asian students to learn more effectively.
Throughout her career, Dr. Li-Yu has served as a co-instructor for ABA courses, a teaching assistant at Florida Tech, and a student teacher at West Virginia University’s nursery school. She has provided training for parents and professionals through her work at Tucci Learning Solutions Inc., and has presented at hundreds of ABA workshops and conferences across China, Taiwan, and the United States. Her book, 教baby真Easy, introduces ABA concepts to families and practitioners in Taiwan and China.
Passionate about education and mentorship, Dr. Li-Yu is dedicated to helping others achieve their professional and personal goals. She actively supports colleagues in preparing for the BCBA exam and earning RBT certification. Inspired by the guidance of her own professors, she strives to be an empowering educator who helps her students and supervisees become the best version of themselves.
