Amanda Groos (She/Her)

Bio

Amanda Groos is a doctoral candidate at Florida Institute of Technology. She earned her bachelor's in psychology from Louisiana State University and her master’s in applied behavior analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. Her research focuses on private events, verbal behavior, and self-management, with a particular interest in developing innovative interventions for college students and young adults diagnosed with ADHD. Amanda has over 15 years of clinical experience working with neurodiverse individuals of all ages in Louisiana, Southern California, the Dominican Republic, the US Virgin Islands, and Florida. She enjoys traveling, yoga, kickball, biking, and trail running.
