Bio
Amanda earned her bachelor's in psychology from Louisiana State University and her master’s in applied behavior analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. She has over 15 years of clinical experience working in home, school, clinic, and community settings in Louisiana, Florida, the Dominican Republic, the US Virgin Islands, and Southern California. Amanda is currently a PhD candidate at Florida Institute of Technology. Her doctoral research focuses on verbal behavior, private events (e.g., attention, emotions), self-management, self-care, mindfulness, and ADHD, with a particular interest in developing innovative approaches to support college students and young adults.
