Lauren Rivera
Bio
Dr. Lauren Rivera has been in the field of behavior analysis since 2014. She started in New York; however, her journey has taken her to Puerto Rico, and now Florida. She has an M.S. and Ph.D. in behavior analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology. Dr. Rivera's research and publication interests are in organizational behavior management, self-management, parent training, and the role of behavior analysis in the child welfare system. She has been published in the Journal of Organizational Behavior Management and has presented at the Association of Behavior Analysis International as well as the Florida Association of Behavior Analysis conferences. Dr. Rivera’s goal is to continue to develop the telehealth modality in behavior analysis to disseminate our science to those who cannot otherwise gain access due, but not limited, to socio-economic status, geography, language, culture, and/or nationality. She would specifically like to focus on the Latino community in the stateside United States as well as Puerto Rico. Dr. Rivera also has over 25 years of previous leadership experience in public education, broadcast news, corporate America, and government in organizations such as Teach for America, the Houston Independent School District, CNN, and the New York Department of State. She also has an M.S. in journalism from Columbia University.
