25 Week Club

Friends in Faith,

I want to thank you for your prayers and support that carried us through last year’s challenges. Due to your gifts, our ministry stayed present on Florida Tech’s campus: spiritual guidance, pastoral counseling, food, fellowship and of course, the sacraments. These ministries you support allowed us to walk with our students as they faced and overcame many adversities. Our presence was felt on campus, whether events were live streamed or delivered in person with safety in mind.

Here is a snapshot of the numbers of lives that were touched by Catholic Campus Ministry in the last academic year.

  • 2900+ attend 11 a.m. Mass
  • 1600+ attend 6 p.m. Mass
  • 1700+ attend spaghetti dinners
  • 50+ attend pancake breakfasts
  • 150+ student ministry volunteers
  • 150+ counseling sessions
  • 130+ confessions
  • 40+ attend spiritual retreats
  • Weekly Men’s group meetings
  • Weekly Women’s group meetings

After a year like the one we all just experienced, it can be tiresome to fight the good fight and stay in the race. As I enter this coming school year with renewed faith and hope for the future, I meditate on how good God has been and will continue to be. I put my trust in Him.

"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9

Through guidance of the Holy Spirit our mission as always is to "Make the Savior Known” this year with a particular investment in men and women’s groups, invitation to the sacraments, and implementation of a new weekly formational night. We pray that by putting our love and attention in these areas, our students will have the opportunity to meet Christ and begin to authentically understand Him as Savior.

We recently welcomed an addition to our team, Katie Jewel, our new female Campus Minister. She is continuing the LIFT Women’s Group program, prayerfully creating the new weekly formation event, and aids in the continuing development of community for our Catholic Panthers which is so powerful.

It is with our mission in mind, “To Make the Savior Known” that I ask you, our community and friends to prayerfully discern supporting our important work by joining the 25-Week Club. Your membership has fueled the growth of our community.

The 25-Week Club is our only annual fundraiser, and with each $25 entry, you have the chance to win $25 at our weekly drawings—you need not be present to win! As a member of the Club you’ll be contributing to the mission of making our Savior known to the students and community of Florida Tech! As we face another challenging year, I will once again put my faith in Jesus and know He will guide our hearts and minds with each passing day.

In the love of Christ,  Catholic Campus Minstry Team
