Professor Tiwari's research focuses on developing autonomous technologies in space and aerial systems, optimal navigation and control, path planning, learning based control and planning, data-driven system ID and aerospace robotics, deep learning and spacecraft swarm. He is the lab director of the Autonomy Lab
