Fast Track Accelerated Master's Degree Program

Florida Tech's Fast Track accelerated master's degree program gives highly motivated current Florida Tech students the opportunity to take graduate-level course work while still undergraduates, making it possible to complete a master’s degree in less time. Students interested in pursuing a Fast Track Master’s Degree at Florida Tech should refer to the program descriptions and requirements below and apply by contacting your academic advisor or the Office of Graduate Admissions.

Florida Tech offers Fast Track options for campus-based students as well as online students. 

Fast Track Program Benefits*

  1. Earn up to six graduate credits in your senior year without the cost of graduate tuition (a $7,074 savings).
  2. Bypass the time commitment, anxiety and costs of graduate admission requirements.
  3. Students enrolled in Melbourne campus graduate programs keep 60% (up to $12,000) of your Florida Tech undergraduate scholarship(s) during your fifth year of studies as a full-time graduate student (minimum nine credits per semester).
  4. Gain the opportunity to replace your scholarship with a lucrative graduate or research assistantship plus wages.
  5. Complete a Florida Tech master’s degree in less time than you would via traditional programs.

Fast Track Programs - Melbourne Campus

B.S./M.S. in Aviation

(Airport Development and Management or Applied Aviation Safety)

Combines a bachelor’s degree with a master’s degree in aviation. Any undergraduate major with a 3.3 cumulative GPA who has completed 95 credits is eligible. Graduate programs available are: Airport Development and Management and Applied Aviation Safety.

B.S./M.S. in Aviation

(Human Factors)

Combines select bachelor’s degrees with a master’s degree in aviation human factors. All aeronautics, applied psychology, computer science or engineering undergraduate majors with a 3.3 cumulative GPA who have completed 95 credits are eligible.

B.S./M.S. in Engineering and Sciecne

Combines a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, computer science or mathematics with a with a master’s degree in a related program. Human-centered design and engineering management combines any bachelor's degree in any major with a master's degree in human-centered design or engineering management. Any undergraduate major with a 3.4 cumulative GPA who has completed 95 credits is eligible.

B.S./M.S. in Global Strategic Communication

Combines a bachelor’s degree with a master’s degree in global strategic communication. Any undergraduate major with a cumulative 3.4 GPA who has completed 95 credits is eligible.
