Military Consumer Information
Florida Institute of Technology is proud to serve military members, their spouses and dependents, and our nation’s veterans. The following sources may help you compare Florida Tech and its education programs with other universities. Note that some web sources display historical data that does not reflect current tuition and financial aid. The most recent information is contained in the Florida Tech College Financing Plan.
Florida Institute of Technology recommends that you speak with your Educational Services Officer (ESO) or Military Branch Education Counselor prior to enrolling.
College Financing Plan
The College Financing Plan is made available to each student electronically via Florida Tech’s Panther Access Web System (PAWS) at the time of award packaging. It is a model financial aid award letter that displays information in a standard, simple format. The report includes costs and financial aid data to facilitate the comparison of shopping sheets from multiple institutions. Sign in to PAWS through the Current Students Launchpad.
The College Scorecard assists prospective students and their families in evaluating options in selecting a school. You can use the College Scorecard to find out more about a college’s affordability and narrow your search for a college that is a good fit for you.
The College Navigator is a consumer tool that provides school information to include tuition and fees, retention and graduation rates, use of financial aid, student loan default rates and features a cost calculator and school comparison tool.
Paying for College
Prospective students can use the ‘Paying for College’ to enter the names of up to three schools, receive detailed financial information on each one, and enter actual financial aid information. The tool will provide a comparison of financial aid offers and an understanding of student loan repayment options.
Net Price Calculator
The Net Price Calculator provides an estimate of Florida Tech's cost of attendance and potential financial aid available based on your situation. This is best for prospective first-time college students from the U.S. who have not yet filed the FAFSA or received a financial aid award letter. (This is not a substitute for the FAFSA.)
Student Cost Estimator
The Student Cost Estimator is a personal worksheet of the total cost of college for those admitted or are currently enrolled at Florida Tech. This is best for students who have completed the FAFSA and received a financial aid package from Florida Tech.
