Work Toward Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® (BCaBA®) Certification with Florida Tech

Florida Tech’s Assistant Behavior Analyst Graduate Certificate program provides students with a first-rate, well-rounded, online educational experience. This program is suited for individuals who have already obtained an undergraduate degree but would like to specialize in behavior analysis. The BCaBA® certificate curriculum is comprised of 16 credits in courses verified by the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) and meets BACB® coursework requirements for certification at the BCaBA® level. As of January 1, 2022, students have two pathways for applying for BCaBA® certification. Each pathway requires a degree, behavior-analytic content, supervised fieldwork, and passing the BCaBA® certification examination. View the Verified Course Sequence Grid provided by ABAI.

ABAI Accredited Degree

  1. Earn a degree from an ABAI-accredited bachelor's program
  2. Complete practical fieldwork in applied behavior analysis

Behavior Analytic Coursework

  1. Earn an undergraduate degree
  2. Complete behavior-analytic coursework
  3. Complete practical fieldwork in applied behavior analysis

Program Cost

Our four-semester Assistant Behavior Analyst Graduate Certificate meets the instructional requirements for the BCaBA® (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® VCS #51229) credential. The BCaBA® credential also requires a bachelor’s degree and supervised fieldwork experience. In each semester, students take four credits with the three-credit course running the first part of the term and the one-credit course running the second.
