Department Head's Message
Welcome to the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science! Our goal is to prepare computer, electrical, and software engineering and computer science students for success and leadership, and to expand knowledge and understanding through research, scholarship, and service.
The department offers a variety of undergraduate and/or graduate programs in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Human-Centered Design, and Software Engineering.
Our graduates work for many companies, including Apple, Electronic Arts, Facebook, GE, Google, Harris, IBM, Microsoft, Northrop Grumman, LinkedIn, Raytheon, Space-X, and United Launch Alliance. Faculty conduct research in a variety of computing, and electrical engineering areas, and are funded by private and government agencies.
