He led Prometheus Energy to become one of North America’s largest and fastest growing suppliers of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to the industrial sector. Its headquarters are in Houston, TX, and the company has additional offices in Redmond, WA, as well as operations across North America. Jim is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Board Director for Stabilis Energy, LLC, a market leader in LNG production and distribution services in North America.

Steve has served as the Chief Globalization Architect at IBM, responsible for establishing the globalization strategy for IBM products. He has been working on globalization issues at IBM for over 20 years and focuses on globalization challenges that are encountered as developers transition to the cloud. He recently was named Chief Technology Officer for IBM and in this role will help to continuously improve the global user experience with IBM’s products. Steve has a long history of contributions in advancing development and testing methodologies for software globalization, maturing the globalization support of computer programming languages, and readying the deployment of cloud and cognitive solutions for a global market.

Kim develops computing systems that aggregate sensor data for various IoT (Internet of Things) applications, focused on retail industries. With more than 20 years at Intel, Kim has led several silicon development efforts for use in the embedded and communications industry. Prior to Intel, he spent 9 years with Honeywell in Clearwater, Fla. where he did reliability and systems engineering for Intertial Navigation Systems that flew on Atlas and Titan rockets. Kim currently serves on the Florida Tech Alumni Association as the vice president and resides in Chandler, Arizona. He graduated from Florida Tech in 1987 with a degree in electrical engineering, and is a member of Tau Beta Pi.

John worked for thirty years in offshore engineering and design of deep water hull forms such as Tension Leg Platforms, Semisubmersibles, Spars, and other offshore facilities. He’s directed many offshore projects and helped develop Industry standards and practices. Founding Houston Offshore Engineering in the early 1980’s, his team eventually merged with Han-Padron Associates and was later acquired by ABB Lummus Global in 1998. Many of this team reformed HOE at the end of 2004. John has published over 30 technical papers, has been awarded US Patents for deep water facilities and operations, and serves as Editorial Advisor to Offshore Engineer Magazine.

He is a seasoned aerospace professional who has led air launched space vehicle, launch operations, and spacecraft programs. A graduate of the US Air Force Academy, his legacy in space began on active duty in the Air Force and continued as the program manager for Orbital's Pegasus system. Most recently, Floyd was vice president and general manager for the civil and defense division at Orbital ATK, where he managed P&L responsibilities of Human Space Systems, National Security Space, Science and Environmental, and Advanced Flight Systems.

Al Nuttall earned his B.S.E. (1967) and M.S.E. (1970), in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army at it’s Chemical Center, Edgewood Arsenal, MD and then launched his career as a development engineer for Eli Lilly & Co. in Indianapolis. In his next role, he managed manufacturing, engineering, quality control, and support groups for three plant sites of PCR, Inc., producing silanes, organofluorine compounds, and other fine organics and pharmaceuticals. In 1984, he moved to Palm Bay to help found FAR Research, Inc., a profitable fine organic chemical manufacturing firm. From 1992-2015, he served in several roles culminating as the President/CEO of FAR and orchestrated an acquisition, bridged the ownership change and, ultimately, oversaw divestiture of the firm. Since retiring, Al has become involved in Florida Tech. He and his wife have provided for an endowed scholarship fund, he has been a speaker on campus and has coached students in interviewing to better prepare them for launching their careers.

Schuler Endowment to provide scholarships to electrical and computer engineer majors at Florida Tech.
