The Florida Tech Rescue Squad is an entirely student-run organization that strives to provide training, certifications, and EMS/First-Aid coverage to the public on Florida Tech's campus.

F.T.R.S. began operations in the spring of 2021 with over 25 founding members. However, the club was officially founded in the fall of 2020 by Nick Brunetti and William Branca. During the first semester of operation, the club was able to educate its members in basic first-aid techniques and patient assessment, along with many other areas of emergency response.

Florida Tech Rescue Squad seeks to help students “be more than a bystander.” Our club is unique in that we gather students of all levels together and teach them how to react to an array of medical emergencies. Once the students are comfortable enough to apply their knowledge, they can join a certified EMT member on standby.

While we have made great strides since our founding in 2020, FTRS has more goals it would like to achieve in order to expand our presence on campus to increase campus safety.

We greatly appreciate your donation, and it will be used to stock medical bags, supply new training equipment, and make medical responses easier.
