Times and Ceremonies are to be determined.
**Tune in for the live broadcast at the time of the event**
Dress Code & Regalia
Appropriate business attire and shoes are required under your regalia.
- All candidates must report to check-in wearing appropriate attire (cap and gown).
Deadline to order for direct mailing to candidates: TBA
- Students must purchase their own regalia, including caps and gowns, for all degrees and master’s and doctoral hoods. Direct regalia questions to the bookstore, at 321-674-8042 or by email to fltech@bncollege.com.
- Wearing stoles and decorated caps are permitted.
- All items worn or decorated must meet university policies; nothing offensive, derogatory, or vulgar may be displayed and must be respectful.
- The Office of the Registrar will distribute the undergraduate honors cords during check-in the morning of commencement.
Commencement Tickets
Candidates must present a photo ID to pick up guest tickets.
For All Candidates (Main Campus / Education Centers / Florida Tech Online / ABA Online)
- Option 1: Grad Fair at the Florida Tech Bookstore
- Option 2: Pick up at the Registrar’s Office at L3Harris Commons on Main Campus (Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. On Friday, December 11 the office is open until 6:00 pm).
- Option 3: Commencement Day: Clemente Center ‘Will Call’ window. We highly recommend utilizing Options 1 or 2, if possible, due to time constraints at Will Call. Ticket Window will be open 1 hour prior to your ceremony time.
All attendees, including infants and children, will require a ticket to enter the venue. The commencement exercises are crowded, with minimal space to move around freely, and may prove to be a challenging environment for small children.
The number of tickets allotted to each candidate is limited by the venue’s seating capacity and by the number of graduates participating in the ceremony. No additional tickets are available.
Students may source tickets from others in the same ceremony; however, the act of buying or selling tickets is not permitted. Ticket sharing must be arranged between students. The Registrar’s Office cannot facilitate ticket sharing.
Seating Accommodations
Candidates with guests requiring accommodation seating, such as wheelchairs, walkers, or seats with backings, should contact the Graduation Office via email at graduation@fit.edu by December 8th.
Check-in Procedures
- All students report to the Gleason Performing Arts Center no later than the assigned time.
- Do not leave once check-in is complete.
- Remain seated and follow all instructions.
- You will be subject to security checks before entering the venue.
