Columbia Village is a freshmen-only community offering four-bedroom, two-bath apartment-style living at the edge of the Botanical Gardens. Each building houses 48 students with 4 students per apartment. 

All residents have access to the Student Commons Building which includes a multipurpose room, study area, vending machines, mailboxes and residence assistance offices. A 2-story parking garage is conveniently located within walking distance from Columbia Village.

The community and residence hall buildings were named in honor of the fallen astronauts of the Space Shuttle Columbia.
