Living Learning Communities Florida Tech
Through Living Learning Communities (LLCs), we offer students a dynamic residential experience consisting of specialized programming, interactions with Florida Tech faculty and staff, and a supportive community that focuses on student success.
Students within the community are placed on a common floor and have access to faculty working together with the residence hall staff to use the facility as a setting for co-curricular and social programming based on the content of the community's major/interest area.
Benefits of Participation:
- Supportive network of like-minded people with a common goal to excel academically
- Mentoring by faculty who will help guide students through the crucial first year of college
- Development of appropriate habits and studying behaviors
- Development of friendships in a positive, team-oriented environment
- Enrollment in a cohort with other LLC participants in your FYE 1000 selected courses during the fall semesters of your freshman year
