Campbell, Shaw, Grissom and Wood Halls

Part of the area known as the Res Quad, Campbell, Shaw, Wood, and Grissom halls are traditional-style residence halls that share a common layout featuring double occupancy rooms and shared bathroom facilities. Primarily housing freshmen students, the location of the halls, convenience of living on campus, and other amenities draw many upper classmen to these residences as well.

Campbell, Grissom, Shaw, & Wood Halls

Unit Features

  • Double-occupancy rooms feature extra-long twin beds, desks, chairs, closets, and dressers for each resident.
  • Among the most spacious traditional-style rooms on campus.
  • Mini-refrigerator and microwave
  • High-speed internet and cable connections

Community Features

  • Excellent location near basketball and tennis courts, Panther Food Court, the Rathskellar Eatery and the Botanical Gardens.
  • Common areas in each building feature lounge furniture, televisions, vending and games.
  • Ample shared laundry facilities located on the bottom floor of Campbell hall.
  • Each hallway has two shared bathrooms, each with two toilets, sinks and showers. 
  • The Ethos Community Garden sits at the east end of the quad.
