Meet Your 2026-2027 Ambassadors

Meet Emma! She is a senior studying Animal Behavior & Cognition in the College of Psychology and Liberal Arts. She is also pursuing a minor in Biology.

Emma chose Florida Tech because of its unique programs and research opportunities. She originally enrolled in the Astrobiology program, but in her time at Florida Tech, she chose to pursue Animal Behavior & Cognition instead. She has had the opportunity to work in multiple labs, including several with animals! Growing up as a military brat, she attended several schools in different countries, but none felt like home the way Florida Tech does.

As a returning President’s Ambassador, Emma hopes to continue to advocate for the student body through fundraising for the Student Emergency Fund, which is quickly growing into a reliable source of support for students in need. She also hopes to continue building relationships with members of the university’s community, including donors, trustees, and President’s Office staff.

After graduation, she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in animal behavior. But first, she’s prepared and excited to get a job in research at a zoo.

Her favorite thing about Florida Tech: “The Dean of Students Office! It's such a vibrant and fun yet productive place.

Her involvement at Florida Tech: Campus Activities Board (Head of Public Relations), Civic Engagement (Student Lead), Orientation Team (Lead Staff), Panther Peer Mentor Program (Mentor), Phi Sigma Sigma (Secretary and Bursar), Phi Eta Sigma, Gamma Sigma Alpha, Honors Psychology Program, Student Government Association (Justice)

In her free time: “I spend most of my free time in the Dean of Students Office, either working on Civic Engagement or participating in admin organizations like CAB!”
